Orders from casadelhabano.ca can be picked up at our store or delivered within Ontario. Tobacco is only handed over to adults 19 or older, after checking photo ID.
Pickup in store
Pickup is free at 358 Ouellette Ave., Windsor, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. We contact you when your order is ready, usually within 1 to 2 business days of confirming it.
The person collecting the order must be the buyer named on the order, 19 or older, and show valid government-issued photo ID. Orders not collected within 14 days may be cancelled and refunded.
Where we deliver
We deliver to street addresses in Ontario only. Checkout accepts Ontario postal codes (beginning K, L, M, N or P) and nothing else.
- We do not ship to other provinces or territories.
- We do not ship outside Canada. We never ship to the United States: Cuban cigars cannot legally be imported there.
- We do not deliver to post office boxes, parcel lockers, mail-forwarding services or unattended locations.
Delivery fee and times
A flat delivery fee is shown at checkout before you place your order, and HST applies to it. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Delivery usually takes 1 to 2 business days in Windsor and Essex County and 2 to 5 business days elsewhere in Ontario.
How we verify age
We check age at every step:
- At checkout, you enter your date of birth and confirm you are 19 or older. Orders from anyone under 19 are refused automatically.
- At pickup, our staff check valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's licence, Ontario Photo Card or passport). The name must match the order and the person must be 19 or older.
- On delivery, the driver checks the recipient's valid government-issued photo ID, confirms they are 19 or older, and takes their signature before handing over the package. Deliveries are never left at the door, in a mailbox or with a neighbour, and are never handed to anyone under 19 or anyone who cannot show valid ID.
If age cannot be verified on delivery, the package comes back to the store and the order is handled as set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
